Laurene Banza appointed new pastor to begin duties July 1, 2024. 

Sarah Groth began her duties as administrative assistant, Monday, May 20, 2024. She lives in Eagle Grove with her husband, Jacob, and their two children, Gavin (10), and Elsie (7). Her husband is a social studies teacher at Robert Blue Middle School and their children attend school here in town. They also have two dogs (Mia and Lucy), one cat (Miley), three turtles (Betty, Apollo, and Baby Grout), and fish. Needless to say, they are busy between home and keeping up with the kids' activities! 

Ann Shriver is the organist and pianist for the church.  Born and raised in Eagle Grove, she loves the town and county. She has been the organist at the United Methodist Church since about 1994, and an organist at Sacred Heart since 1977 at the age of 13 years. She started at Sacred Heart, played occassionally, and was later assigned the 5:30 Saturday mass when in High School.  She states that she has a perfect son.
